Why I Hate Cryptic Previews

So we just went to see Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and I’ve decided that I’m no longer going to take any preview I see at face value. I had heard nothing else about the movie, all I saw was the preview and it looked relatively light, interesting, etc….well I was WRONG! It was a good movie, but not even remotely light. It was one of those movies where none of the characters was really likeable, which made it difficult for me to get into it. And it had the added annoyance of Julia Roberts, who I don’t really care for. Overall it was really well done, but I don’t think I’ll be buying the DVD.
On a completely different note, in respose to the comment by Jon’s dad, no we don’t in fact have a secret baby…the little guy in the picture with Jon is my friend Kim’s cousin Derek. He’s a cutie, though, isn’t he?
Our day today was ok, we went and looked at houses, just to get an idea of what’s around in our price range. Apparently that would consist of houses with no bedrooms and only half a roof. All the really cool ones were like $240,000 which is a leetle out of our range right now. I saw a couple that I liked but Jon didn’t really go for them. We both agreed that the $250,000, four bedroom three bath house with the granite and stainless steel kitchen was pretty much what we wanted, unfortunately I don’t have any extra organs laying around that I can sell to buy it. Oh well, maybe we’ll win the lottery.
Apparently Jon bought a couple of new domain names last night (I swear, I leave him alone for a coupla hours, and he buys the internet!) so my blog might be moving soon, as soon as I get what the new address will be I’ll post it.
