Saturday Again

So I was right when I said I wouldn’t write until the weekend, but all my dear readers didn’t miss a whole lot. The week was pretty boring, work, tv, the usual. There was finally a new 24 on though, which was pretty kick ass. I’m going to do something different this time and talk about music instead of what I’ve been doing, so mom, if you’re reading this, you can go back to watching DVDs in your office instead of reading my blog. Since I know some of my friends are really into music, I thought I might let you know what music I’ve been into recently. For some strange reason, I’ve been listening to a lot of kinda mellow spacy music, I guess to counteract the chaos that is work. In my car CD case I have:

The Invisible Band - Travis
A Rush of Blood to the Head - Coldplay
Once More With Feeling - Buffy the Vampire Slayer (I’m a geek, deal with it!)
Jack Johnson - Brushfire Fairytales
Celtic Twilight Vol. 2 - Various

Also some mixed MP3 cds with a whole lotta different stuff. I actually got the Celtic Twilight CD for the kids at the preschool to listen to at naptime but its really awesome. I just need to wait until I’m not actually driving to listen to it ‘cuz it’ll put me to sleep. Anyways, all of the above CDs are really great, I recommend them if anyone is looking for mellow/relaxing-type music.

On a different note, Jon and I saw Shanghai Knights today. I was kind of disappointed. I really like Owen Wilson and I love Jackie Chan but Shanghai Knights was just missing something….I can’t put my finger on what though,…oh wait I can: the PLOT. That’s what it lacked. It’s a shame though, I had high expectations for it. Oh well, at least we only paid for a matinee instead of seeing it at night and feeling really gypped.

Well thats all for now, I think Jon and I are going to the coast tomorrow (assuming he reads this and gets the hint!) so I’ll write more tomorrow night.
