Another Week is Over

So another week has gone by and I’m most tired. I think I’ve finally succumbed to whatever cold-y/sinus-y/virus-y thing that all of my kids have had. So far it’s just a sore throat and congestion, though, so I’m going to relax this weekend and hope I can shake it off by Monday.
Ok enough bitching…I saw Cradle to the Grave last night and I was actually pretty impressed. I wasn’t expecting anything, so when it actually turned out to be entertaining I was surprised. Jet Li pretty much kicks ass in whatever he’s in, but the fights in this were really well done. There were some pretty big plot holes, but that aside it was a good brainless action flick.
At work today we made Green Eggs and Cheese (they didn’t have any ham at the store) for Doctor Seuss’ Birthday. It was so funny, I put too much food coloring in them and they looked exactly like green playdoh. I couldn’t even bring myself to try them but the kids said they were good. I find it amusing that they won’t eat anything that’s naturally green but if it’s artificially colored they can’t get enough.
So this weekend should be pretty low key…I have to finish my curriculum (it was due last Fri.) and pay some bills, but other than that we have no plans. If something amusing/entertaining happens, I’ll write more tomorrow or Sun.
