So I’m back from my trip to Milwaukee, and I must say I really enjoyed it. I got to see 2 of my favorite people (Kim and Julia) and it was a lot of fun. I also got to eat at some of the restaurants I’ve been missing since the relo to Portland. Thanks, Kim, for carting my ass all over the city at the whims of my stomach, I really do appreciate it. Although I already said it in person, I also wanted to wish both Kim and Julia Happy Birthdays. (Kim turned 24 and Julia turned 18 on Jan 26th).
The one thing that kinda sucked about Milwaukee was the weather, although having lived there for the majority of my life I wasn’t too shocked by the cold and snow. It was in the single digits for most of the trip, and getting back to the mid-50’s in Portland was a relief.
