So we did more piping practice with chocolate today in class, but we were all getting kind of sick writing “happy birthday” over and over. Me and the other people at my table decided to practice our skills by piping things you wouldn’t normally see on a cake, like “Next time I won’t miss” with a picture of a gun piped in chocolate. My personal favorite message was “It’s not your baby,” which Chef Peggy seemed to find amusing. Other heartwarming messages included, “Lets go get drunk,” “Get a Clue,” and “I’m not your real mother…sorry.” It was like Hallmark sponsored class today, it was so touching. And if I ever decide to have the mailman’s love child, I’ll be all set

I currently worked at bake shop at Jewel Osco for 4 weeks now. And the manager start telling me to write on a cake. I mean..not the practice cake. She wants me to write on a customer cake!!!!
and i have a hard time to write it neat. And yesterday i started to practiced to wrote on a customer’s cake. And….I didn’t do good. I wrote the word “Thank’ for like….4 times. After the first time, the manager have to scraper it off and ice the cake again, then i did it second time, and it looked horrible, then she scraped it off again.
I dunno what to do. BUT!!!!!! i know in the Michael’s craft store near my house have a cake decorating class opened, but it cost money, AND i dun want to pay to just learn how to write on a cake. Can you give me some tips??
