So this week in class we’re working on pies and tarts, so it’s been a lot of fun. Yesterday I made a really tasty apple pie and three little mini quiches, which were really cute. Today I made a lemon tart with a white chocolate glaze, a bacon, cheddar, and onion quiche, and some dark chocolate and raspberry tartlets. Our test is on friday, we have to make 2 pies and a tart, so hopefully it’ll go ok. I got an A on the test last week (cookies) but it’s harder to make pies look professional, the crust is really fragile and sometimes things just don’t look perfect. I’m especially nervous about the fruit tart, I can never get the fruit to look even, and our teacher is really picky about that. Oh well, at least even the mistakes taste good
