So I’m totally annoyed with myself. I have a really cool husband, we make ok money, and we live in a town where there’s lots to do on a Friday night. So what did I do last night? Read a book, ate dinner and went to bed. At ten o’clock. If my teenage self could communicate with me today, she’d kick my ass for being so freakin’ lame (although I really think I could take her, I outweigh her by like 50lbs.). And the sad thing is that I was all ambitious yesterday at school, I was like, yeah, we’re gonna go see a movie, or go to a club tonight. But did we? No, I just fell asleep all early. I think I’m getting old! Hopefully I’ll be a little more interesting tonight, Jon wants to go see Hellboy, which looks moderately entertaining at least. And since I got 10 hours of sleep last night, I think I might even be able to stay out past midnight without turning into a pumpkin (or falling asleep in the theater) but we’ll see.

Hey, you could have it worse…at least Jon’s with you! Tomomi and I are seperated now and it really blows. Because of our work schedules I only get to see her one day a week. I’m in a new city (kind of small, only around 200,000 people) where I don’t know anybody so I’m pretty much bored all the time.
But anyway, enough of my self pity!! ^_^ I know how you feel, though, as I am definately feeling age slowly creep up on me. I just don’t have as much energy as I used to. This past Friday night I could have made the effort to go out the the foreign club here in town but instead I sat at home and watched reruns of The Simpsons. Hey in a totally disrelated topic, do you remember our intense Virtua Tennis and Bomberman matches back in the day? I really miss those.
Yeah, Jon and I were talking about the Virtua Tennis Matches just the other day…we played in Seattle at an arcade and he pretty much kicked my ass. I’m sorry that you and Tomomi aren’t living together, that must suck. There’s nothing wrong with watching Simpsons on a Friday night though, I’d think that it would be more fun than a smoky club anyday!
